Roadless area in state forest. However, road building and logging may be planned in vicinity, although no trees are marked here. Drain bottoms support hemlock-white pine oak (CAPR.5).;Ridge shoulder in convoluted dissected plateau landscape. Convex position on warm aspect supports a forest dominated by white pine and several oak species. There is abundant white pine regeneration in the tall shrub layer and sparse to moderate cover by huckleberry in the short shrub layer. Herbs are sparse. Large down snage and lots of wood in plot.
